To all my existing and future new patients:

This week, the Ontario Government and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario has announced that chiropractors are allowed to resume regular chiropractic care. Routine maintenance chiropractic care, as well as continued care for acute injuries and emergency symptoms can now resume. I want to take this time to announce a few very important changes in the way the clinic will operate. Until the COVID–19 Pandemic is over, this will be our new normal.

As the clinic gradually re-opens, I ask my patients to follow the new mandatory clinic safety guidelines:

BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT

• All appointments must be booked over the phone or through the Online Booking Website. Walk-ins will not be permitted at this time. Please be advised that I will be practicing on a limited daily schedule to ensure physical distancing and room hygiene is practiced. But, I will do my best to accommodate everyone’s appointment needs.
• Intake Forms are to be completed online before your visit.

UPON YOUR ARRIVAL

• Masks are mandatory and recommended. Masks do not need to be medical grade. Due to limited access to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), masks will not be provided by us.
• Arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment and please do not be late.
• Please wash hands and/or sanitize prior to entering the clinic.
• Practice physical distancing outside the clinic or waiting area until you are directed into a treatment room

PAYMENT AND INVOICING

• Our credit and debit card terminals are equipped with tap-and-pay for tap-enabled credit cards and enabled smartphones
• Treatment receipts will only be emailed. If you require a printed receipt, a monthly statement will be made available and prepared monthly.

CLINIC PROTOCOLS TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY

• Hand washing / sanitizing before and after every patient
• Wearing PPE as necessary
• Installing a sneeze-guard at the front desk
• Disinfecting common areas often throughout the day
• Spacing our patients so there are fewer patients in the clinic and allowing adequate time to clean
• Having hand sanitizer available throughout the clinic
• Screening all patients through the booking and arrival process
• Reducing the number of “touch-points” you have in our clinic
• If you begin to feel unwell leading up to your appointment, we ask that you contact us immediately to reschedule.
• Anyone who has traveled outside of Ontario within 14 days, or who has been in contact with a suspected, probable or confirmed case of COVID-19 will be asked to follow mandatory 14-day self-isolation before booking an appointment.
